How do I install the IndReelForge node in n8n?

Go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install, enter "n8n-nodes-indreelforge", and click Install. The node appears in the node picker immediately. Works on n8n cloud and any self-hosted instance. No coding required.

Can I use n8n self-hosted with IndReelForge?

Yes. The native IndReelForge community node and the HTTP Request fallback both work equally well with n8n cloud and any self-hosted n8n instance. As long as your n8n server can make outbound HTTPS calls, you can post to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and every other supported platform from your own infrastructure.

Do I need a separate node for each social platform?

No. One IndReelForge node fans out to every platform you select. Choose the platforms directly in the node UI (native node) or pass repeated platform[] fields (HTTP Request). A single execution can publish to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and more simultaneously.

How do "profiles" work — is that the same as my n8n user?

A profile in IndReelForge is a logical bundle that links one account per network. Create a profile from the dashboard, OAuth into each social account once, then select the profile name in the IndReelForge node (or pass it as the "user" field in HTTP Request). n8n itself doesn't need to know about the connections — IndReelForge handles all the OAuth tokens server-side.

Can n8n schedule posts through IndReelForge?

Yes, in two ways. Use the native node's "Edit a scheduled post" and "List scheduled posts" actions to manage IndReelForge's built-in scheduler. Or pass a "schedule_at" ISO timestamp in any upload call to queue it for later. You can also use n8n's Cron trigger to fire uploads at any cadence.

How do I send a video file from n8n?

Load the file as binary data from a Google Drive, S3, Read Binary File, or HTTP Request node, then in the IndReelForge Upload Video action select "Binary Data" as the source and map the binary property. For large files, pass a public video_url instead — IndReelForge fetches it server-side and avoids n8n memory limits. Accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI and MKV up to 500 MB.

Is there a free way to test the n8n integration?
