Slack connects with an incoming webhook URL, which is tied to one channel. Slack posting is text only: incoming webhooks cannot upload photos or videos.

Go to api.slack.com/apps, create an app for your workspace, and turn on Incoming Webhooks.

Click Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick the channel, and copy the webhook URL.

In the IndReelForge dashboard, open a profile, click Connect next to Slack and paste the URL. We verify it before saving.

Can I post to Slack via API?

Yes. Connect a Slack incoming webhook to a profile, then send platform[]=slack with /api/upload_text to post a message to that channel.

Can I post photos or videos to Slack?

No. Slack incoming webhooks only accept text, so Slack posting is text only. Leave Slack out of photo and video posts.

How do I get an incoming webhook URL?

Create an app at api.slack.com/apps, turn on Incoming Webhooks, add a webhook to your workspace, pick a channel, and copy its URL.

Can I post to several Slack channels?

Each incoming webhook posts to one channel. Connect each channel's webhook to its own profile.
